The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
This is an audio recap of why and how I dropped 42-lbs off my frame in 12 weeks and then competed in a Power lifting meet.
The mental and physical side of a hardcore diet and the effects it has on your strength training progress. I lay it all out here:

Tech idiot here. Don’t know how to do that. Is there something wrong with your audio?
Any chance that we can see before and after pics?
Great summary, Andy. The time, effort, and commitment . . .WOW . . . Are you back to eating a more “moderate” diet, now? If so, did the sodiu, glycogen, ect. cause a quick weight gain? Thanks, again, for all of the insight and keeping all of us informed of the progress along the way. Congratulations!
Sunday – Tuesday I ate whatever I wanted. Completely off the diet. Today I am back on for the next four days then heading out on vacation Sunday. I’ll be off again for a week. When I get back I’ll get back on the diet and me and Nathan are going to work something out that is strict Monday – Friday and loosens up on the weekends. But yeah, I was 216 when I got back on the scale today. Should come right back off though.
You’re supposed to smile in the ‘after’ picture! :-)
Ha! It was like 4:45am – getting ready to head into work. No smiles until I’ve had my coffee.
