Bodyweight is currently 202. Since I started April 13 at 242, I’m officially down 40 lbs in 12 weeks.
Meet is this Saturday so today was last training session. Just took out a few light singles on the squat and bench. No deads.
Squat: 5 x 135, 3 x 225, 1 x 275, 1 x 315, 1 x 365, 1 x 405, 1 x 455, 1 x 405, 1 x 365, 1 x 315
Bench 10 x 135, 5 x 225, 1 x 275, 1 x 295, 1 x 315 x 3 sets.
Turns out that 455 didn’t feel too light!! But I’m very very depleted right now as I hit that 202 marker. Been hitting almost daily cardio as well so legs are beat. 3 more days of rest/recovery and I’m also done with cardio. Hopefully all this well help, but we’re not doing any type of carb loading prior to the meet. This won’t occur until AFTER weigh-ins. Then I’ll attempt to carb load my ass off for a boost on the platform.
