About Baker Strength & Fitness
Located in the heart of Kingwood TX, Baker Strength & Fitness (formerly Kingwood Strength & Conditioning) is the private training facility of personal trainer, strength coach, and author Andy Baker.
Since we opened our doors in 2007, Baker Strength & Fitness has been the area leader in providing Kingwood TX residents (and residents of the greater Houston area) with world class, customized strength & conditioning training.
We also have clients who regularly visit us for coaching and training from as far away as Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Louisiana.
We work only with serious clients who want to achieve serious results.
Baker Strength & Fitness is reserved strictly for one on one or small group training sessions, and is not open to public membership. For our clients this means a training experience free from the distractions of a large commercial health club or the chaos of a large group training class. No Crowds, No Distractions, No Gimmicks.
Training is conducted in a small but professionally equipped private training studio alongside your coach who will be 100% focused on you and your goals. All Baker Strength & Fitness clients are placed on a customized strength & conditioning program built around your needs, your goals, and your current level of ability. You will be monitored at each and every workout to ensure you are performing your program correctly, safely, and progressing at an appropriate pace.
Who Is a Client at Baker Strength & Fitness?
Our clients range from Division I college athletes to adults in their 70s and 80s looking to combat the effects of aging, and just about everyone in between.
We have been providing strength & fitness training for nearly a decade to clients with a diverse range of goals:
- High School & Collegiate Athletes (we have current and former clients now on scholarship at schools such as University of Oklahoma, Arizona State, University of Texas, University of Houston, Auburn, and Notre Dame)
- Seniors in their 60s, 70s, and 80s training to maintain and active and independent lifestyle
- Executives and other busy professionals looking for more energy and better overall health and stamina
- Moms & Dads who want to shed body fat, build muscle, improve their appearance, and regain their self confidence
- Underweight men & women needing to build strength, muscle mass, and bone density
- Overweight men & women looking to achieve a healthier body weight and more active lifestyle
There are no “cookie cutter” programs at Baker Strength & Fitness. All clients are placed on a custom program in accordance with their specific goals and needs.

Baker Strength & Fitness is a STARTING STRENGTH GYM (What does that mean for you?)
In 2012 Baker Strength & Fitness (formerly Kingwood Strength & Conditioning) was honored to be named as the nation’s first official Starting Strength Gym.
We are currently the only official Starting Strength Gym in the Houston area and one of only 16 Starting Strength Gyms in the nation.

All personal training and strength coaching at Baker Strength & Fitness is conducted by appointment only and our available time slots are limited. We cannot guarantee that we will have an available time slot that fits your schedule.
