I was grateful to Mark Rippetoe and Stef Bradford for having me back in Wichita Falls as a featured speaker at our 2nd annual gathering. Great information on training folks safely and effectively. Many practitioners do not pass the tests of not causing more problems and not wasting the time of their clients. The Starting Strength model for teaching the basic barbell movements done the way you describe in the video makes sense.
Thanks Matt. It’s an important demographic to service, probably the most important. But it is not easy, and as a coach, you want to avoid “having to learn the hard way.”
